Guest Dosing Services

Guest Dosing Services

Request Information

If you are in treatment at another facility and need to receive medication, we are able to accommodate you. Guest dosing patients are charged the same daily fee as MARC patients and there is no extra fee to set up guest dosing services. We will not be able to provide take-home medication for guests.

Patients from other facilities will be allowed to guest dose for the period of time their home clinic allows. Services provided by this facility include dosing and appropriateness for dosing evaluation. We reserve the right to refuse to guest dose a patient from another program. Reasons for guest dosing denial include, but are not limited to; on-site intoxication of guest dosing patient, and most recent UDS positive for benzodiazepines.

To receive guest dosing, MARC requires that:

  1. Patient must present identification, (i.e. driver’s license, state issued ID, passport, etc.)
  2. The home facility must provide written dosing instructions signed by the home clinic’s physician prior to dosing the patient.
  3. The MARC nurse will contact the nurse at the patient’s home clinic to verify: patient’s ID, dose level, date last dosed, length of stay, number of take-home doses authorized, and any other medicating instructions.
